It was my own search for understanding and wholeness which led me to become a psychotherapist.
So I am aware how difficult it can be to reach out for help. If you are reading this, you may be looking for answers to questions or solutions to situations that you have been unable to resolve on your own. There can be many ways life becomes challenging; difficult relationships, illness or death, abrupt changes, job loss, traumatic events (new and old), feeling different, loneliness or even a life time of seemingly small events adding up to an overwhelming burden.
Before becoming a psychotherapist I studied many philosophies and healing traditions from around the world. The combined complimentary and traditional training helped me develop an inclusive and non-judgmental base from which to build my current practice.
I am trained to help a range of issues across the lifespan with focused training in trauma, anxiety/depression, grief/loss, life transition concerns, among other issues. I offer integrative counseling services that can help you unlock your inner resources, and allow you to discover solutions and fulfill your potential.
My areas of expertise:
Anxiety Disorders
Depressive Disorders
Gender and Identity
Grief and Loss
Life Transitions
Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
As a professional therapist, my role is to guide you as you take steps towards positive life changes, healing, and a healthy mind. Together we’ll work to uncover and better understand life’s challenges and day-to-day stressors that detract from your life and focus, and begin identifying and practicing things that will make you stronger.
